Oxygen first aid is in many scenarios is something you can't do without. In all situations where hypoxia (oxygen deficiency) is a problem with the victim, the administration of medical oxygen actually applies.

The use of medical oxygen is not a reserved act, but is subject to certain rules. This is partly due to the fact that you work with pressure cylindersg and 100% oxygen promotes fire. Good training is therefore needed, preferably specific to the type of accident or trauma that one has to face.
