Team members of a technical rope rescue team who already have completed a basic training and want to have specific input to the use of tripods and multipods.
Description:
This is an intensive workshop where there is extensive information on the use
of tripods in technical rope rescue and other industrial applications.
Misconceptions, lack of knowledge and insight into the use of tripods often
ensures that tripods are not stable or even fall during use. This takes place
especially in the use of tripods, where one want to go over a 90 degree edge,
as is the case on flat roofs. This workshop provides a thorough understanding
of the possibilities and impossibilities offer tripods. Extensive attention is
paid to the use of the Arizona Vortex multi pod. No location is too difficult
to use this multi leg. This requires some knowledge and insight, however,
necessary to enjoy the advantages it brings to rescue victims or taking heavy
equipment over a roofs edge.
